Material by and about Warren Chappell, 1975-1986.

The collection contains material by and about Warren Chappell from the files of the Rare Book Division of the Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library, and consists chiefly of correspondence of Julius Barclay and Clinton Sisson with Chappell. There is also correspondence with Daniel Melcher and collector Ruth Nuzum. In addition the collection contains photographs of Chappell; original artwork for the "Fugitives and agrarians" keepsake, 1985; and some pertinent articles.
